　　JDSU为目前全球最大光纤零件供应商，光通讯领域巨头之一。

　　JDSU成立于1981年，经过20余年的发展，不断推行收购的战略，逐步成为全球光电企业的龙头老大就离不开其一系列的收购活动。据不完成统计，从1999年收购 Ramar Corporation起，在到2004年5年左右的时间内，JDSU至少进行了15次收购，其中1999年4次，2000年3次，2001年2次，2002年3次，2003年1次，2004年到目前已进行过2次收购，以后还要收购哪些公司不得而知。 　　

　　通过收购，JDSU的光器件几乎覆盖光通信领域的所有光器件，从无源到有源，从芯片到模块，发展成为光电器件的大哥大。2003年，JDSU位置第一，从现有的数据显示，JDSU仍稳置世界第一的地位。
